Another important board serving the Township is the Zoning Board of Adjustment. It is also a Statutory entity, and one can be found in every municipality in New Jersey. The Board is responsible for reviewing and acting upon individual cases where proposals for development are presented which cannot conform to all the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance. The Board may approve or deny such applications and establish requirements for construction that it feels are necessary to protect the zoning and development regulations consistent with the public safety, health and welfare.

The Zoning Board meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Public Safety Building.
